Online MBA Degrees
What You need to know about Online MBA Degrees
For most of its history, education in the United States has been important, the “vehicle” by which bright and ambitious men and women have carved a path to professional success.
That path involved good performance in high school and then, using traditional methods, written applications to colleges or universities … followed by “life on campus” or, if the school chosen was a so-called “commuter school, a daily trip back and forth to the school’s campus and real homework and study – at home.
But, things change. And, with that change has come a new way of “going to college or university.” This path is “100% electronic.” Today, many students seeking postgraduate degrees – MBAs – get their instruction online. It’s true … the MBA Online is very much in vogue and the way many young American students study for – and receive – their advanced degrees.
It seems to be a very good idea. There are scores of excellent “online universities” offering a wide variety of MBA degrees. And, students who choose to “go to school” in this manner are able to have a real life outside the classroom … one that often includes full time employment and the chance to earn a substantial income … and to live life as a successful adult.
Importantly, many Online MBA schools do not require GMAT test results. You can apply to the online university, get accepted … and begin your postgraduate work – even if you have never taken the GMAT test which is used by many colleges and universities offline to determine a student’s eligibility.
Here’s more good news: online universities generally let you “work at your own speed.” There is never a professor looking over your shoulder and the online schools are very aware that you probably have a full time job and, as such, they tend to be much more lenient in their demands and requirements than offline schools.
In that kind of environment, your chances of success become much, much greater. And the pressure of getting high grades lessens dramatically. Study for your MBA Online … and you are virtually assured – from day one – that you will get your degree.
There are, as you might expect, many different courses of study available. These include: accounting … business management … economics … e-business … e-commerce … entrepreneurship … finance … information services … marketing … technical management … and many, many more.
Some Online MBA colleges and universities are better equipped to handle specific course study programs than others although all of the schools online are generally quite good. All you have to do, before you enroll anywhere, is conduct a bit of simple online research to determine which school excels at teaching accounting, for example, or any of the other subjects noted earlier.
And, when it comes time to select a school, remember that they are all good. However, the following colleges and universities are considered to offer the very best MBA Online programs.
The best schools are … University of Phoenix … Walden University … Kaplan University … Keller Graduate School of Management of Devry University … and Northeastern University
Choose any of the above schools … and you will be well on your way to reaching your goal – a coveted MBA Degree … and a real chance to dramatically enhance your income for as long as you choose to work.
